Grandmaster Fuechsel’s Story
You hear the phrase love of the game. Master Fuechsel’s journey in the martial arts these 47 years has been thrilling and the love of the game is why he trains. You see small children playing and before long, they pick up two sticks and sword fighting ensues. It wasn’t that long ago that if you had a good sword and a good horse that was all the wealth you needed.
Master Fuechsel once heard words of wisdom from a five-year-old white belt testing for his yellow belt. When he asked the question what do you like about Taekwondo, after some contemplation, he said “I just like the way it makes my body feel “. For Master Fuechsel that sums it up. He love the challenge of perfecting the motion and the movement. Making it balanced on the left and right side having the ability to do it forwards and backwards and spinning. The challenge never ends and the body, mind and spirit continually strive for that synergistic hit. As a lifelong instructor watching this progressive transformation take place in thousands of students has been so rewarding. he looks forward to this journey with you.
